RSS' Hindu Woman

In a revealing, though not entirely surprising, exposé of the Hindu organization, the Rashtra Swayam Sevak (RSS), Sanjana from Tehelka reports on her experience with Saffron Techies. This is fundamentalism, madrassa style, for the India shining IT sector.

To make themselves more appealing to this "educated", tech-savvy class, the RSS has forgone its strict requirements that all its cadets wear ankle length shorts. I don't know if you've seen any RSS cadets. I have, and they frequently assemble outside temples in Bombay, especially during festivals.

Even though it is so depressing to see what has happened to India, at some level of complete cynicism one can't help but laugh at the stupid khaki shorts these grown up men wear as they walk like toddlers marching towards the glorious Hindu Rashtra. Its a perfect image for Incredible India. Completely brain-washed robots ready to die or kill for their God and Nation.

Well, the Hamas of India, has upgraded its level and now holds meetings where mukhyashikshaks (headmasters) teach Hindu pride to IT professionals. This is going on, in the "all over the world-famous" Bengaluru.

I have never been under the illusion that formal education will set your mind free, though it does get you a job. So as far as the RSS finding new members in the IT sector is concerned, I'm not really surprised. The middle class has always, throughout history, supported the worst fascist ideas.

What did catch my attention in the story was the scientific description of a Hindu woman's role and why she had to be subservient to a Hindu husband.

Since the reporter, Sanjana, is a woman, she was appropriately asked to join the women's wing of RSS, cutely known as Rashtra Sevika Samiti (RSS). Upon asking a mukhyashikshak (headmaster), on why unequal roles were assigned to men and women within marriages and why women were asked to follow their husbands, she was directed to a perfectly scientific explanation. Even Darwin couldn't do better. There is a perfectly "natural" reason in Hinduism for the subordination of women.

The official Sangh Parivar website explains the "Science of the Caste/Varna System" and among other shit, here's a morsel to chew upon.

A man gets birth in a particular genetic lineage (family) on the basis of his previous karmas (thoughts and actions). Birth is not accidental. Depending upon the mood & thought-level of the husband at the time of conception, souls in the range of similar thought-frequency enter into the sperm-cells. That’s the moment when each of the sperm cells become alive, with one soul each. (This is like radio-system. We hear the frequency we tune to.)... Then all of them rush towards the ovum to conceive. ....But out of millions only one gets the chance !!

This depends upon the female. The woman's psychosomatic body will allow only that sperm-soul to conceive which matches to the impression she has of her husband on her psychosomatic make-up. That’s why, for good progeny, wife should be tuned to her husband, colored by her husband, she should have adherence to her husband. Otherwise, she will select (automatic biological system) a bad-quality soul. And the child will be negative, not developed and a burden on the society.

Well, now you know why that woman should stay in her place. It is good for Hindu society.
